Our Story

Hunt Accommodation is a family-owned retreat created with love, intention and a deep connection to Samoa.

Owned by Leti and Lau Hunt, this space reflects a lifelong dream brought to life. Both born in Samoa, they later moved to Australia where they built their life and raised their four children.

Family has always been at the centre of everything they do. Today, Leti and Lau are known affectionately as 'Nanna and Pa' to their five grandchildren, a role they cherish deeply and one that continues to shape the warmth and care they bring to this space.

After many years abroad, they chose to return home to Samoa to create a peaceful sanctuary, not just for themselves, but for others seeking rest, simplicity and connection.

What began as their dream home has become something much more. It is a place grounded in family values, where guests are welcomed with genuine hospitality, kindness and a sense of belonging that reflects the way they have always lived their lives.

Surrounded by lush tropical greenery and the peaceful charm of our family farm, Hunt Accommodation offers an authentic taste of Samoan island life. With chickens roaming freely, friendly dogs nearby, pigs on the property and homegrown crops including traditional Samoan taro, guests can experience the simple pleasures of farm living. It's a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature, embrace local traditions and enjoy the relaxed rhythm of life in beautiful Samoa.
